Our Party Committee went to Shuanggang School in Nanchang Economic Development Zone to carry out paired construction activities

On the afternoon of December 3rd, a paired construction activity with the theme of "Technology inspires dreams, cultural inheritance hopes" was successfully launched at Shuanggang School in Nanchang Economic Development Zone. This event was led by Liu Qiuming, Vice Dean of the School of Software Engineering and Secretary of the Virtual Reality Party Branch, together with four outstanding teachers, bringing a wonderful course that integrates cutting-edge technological knowledge and diverse cultural experiences to the students of Shuanggang School.

At the beginning of the event, Pi Chunhua, a full-time teacher at the School of Software Engineering, gave a lecture on "Library Knowledge" in simple and understandable language, explaining the characteristics of libraries and using library methods to guide children to love libraries and encourage them to "read well, read good books, and read well". This reading promotion volunteer activity has won praise from children, expanding their ideas, providing methods, and increasing their knowledge for better use of the library.

Immediately afterwards, Fang Yu, the secretary of the first party branch and full-time counselor of the undergraduate students in the School of Software Engineering, brought a highly infectious red culture micro group class - "A Red Light Reflects the Ice Heart". Through the development process of the publication "Red Light", students seemed to travel back in time and space to that passionate revolutionary era, and deeply appreciate the power of the red spirit.

Subsequently, Fan Zhongkui, a full-time teacher and young PhD student at the School of Software Engineering, came up with a unique idea to guide students in exploring the wonderful applications of artificial intelligence in daily life and deeply analyzing its development process. The most interesting thing is that he also allowed students to personally experience the software they wrote, intuitively experiencing the convenience and efficiency of artificial intelligence.

Finally, Zhou Ruoxuan, a full-time teacher in the Virtual Reality Teaching and Research Office of the School of Software Engineering, led students from strolling through lifelike oil paintings and ink paintings to participating in interactive games of party history adapted from revolutionary stories by showcasing a series of videos carefully crafted using VR technology. This series of experiences not only greatly enriched students' understanding of virtual reality technology, but also gave them a deeper understanding of this cutting-edge technology.

This pairing and joint construction activity not only brought rich knowledge and unique experiences to the students of Shuanggang School in Nanchang Economic Development Zone, but also added a significant touch to the exchange and cooperation between the two schools. Through this activity, students not only broadened their horizons and stimulated their interest in learning, but also deeply experienced the power of technology and the charm of culture. At the same time, this also strengthens our determination to cultivate more high-quality talents with a sense of social responsibility and mission to the society.
