On the morning of June 17th, the School of Software Engineering held a special meeting on peaceful construction and safety & stability work in Conference Room 1302. Members of the school’s leadership team and the peaceful construction working group attended the meeting, which was chaired by Xue Jinchun, Dean of the School.

First, Guo Quanjiang from the School’s Peaceful Construction Office conveyed and interpreted the spirit of the documents *Jiangxi University of Science and Technology: Assessment Rules for Peaceful Construction Work of Schools (Campuses)* and *Jiangxi University of Science and Technology: 2025 Work Plan for Work Safety Month*. He also introduced the *School of Software Engineering: 2025 Work Plan for Work Safety Month* and announced the establishment of a leading group for the "Work Safety Month" activities, which is responsible for guiding, coordinating and organizing the school’s "Work Safety Month" activities. Second, Dean Xue Jinchun made specific arrangements for the key tasks of the school’s "Work Safety Month" activities, and assigned the responsibility of hidden safety hazard inspection to specific individuals. Third, all participants watched the 2025 Jiangxi Provincial "Work Safety Month" theme promotional video together, and conducted a special study on knowledge related to fire safety risk identification and control. Then, Liu Qiuming, Vice Dean, introduced the *School of Software Engineering: Series of Activities Plan for Academic Integrity Month*.

Finally, Dean Xue Jinchun pointed out that "no safety issue is trivial"—safety work covers all aspects of the school’s work, including ideological safety, fire safety, personal safety of teachers and students, property safety, psychological safety, and academic integrity safety. He emphasized that the school’s peaceful construction work is the cornerstone of all the school’s work. Xue Jinchun stressed that the school should take this meeting as an opportunity to further strengthen safety responsibilities, refine work measures, effectively build a solid safety defense line for the school, and create a safe and stable teaching and research environment for teachers and students.
