News from the Website (Article by Wu Qixuan / Photos by Wang Wenjie) On November 3, our school held a special seminar for the 2005 session of Cost Engineering majors alumni returning to campus to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their graduation in Conference Room 601 of the No.1 Teaching Building on the Nanchang Campus. Lan Xinhua, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee (in charge of work), Liu Shumin, Vice Dean, and representatives of teachers and students attended the meeting. The gathering was hosted by Chai Zheng, Director of the School's Party and Government Office.

On behalf of the school, Lan Xinhua delivered a welcome speech. He introduced the school's development achievements in recent years in terms of discipline and professional construction, talent training, technological innovation, and social services. He stated that the university is striding towards the goal of "building a world-class university in the field of rare earths and key mineral resources", and hoped that the majority of alumni will continue to care about the university, pool their efforts to empower its development, and work together to create a bright future for Jiangxi University of Science and Technology.


Teacher representatives such as Wang Hong and Ma Jun recalled the alumni's campus days, introduced the construction of Intelligent Construction and Engineering Management majors, and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the alumni.
The alumni talked about their youthful years of studying at their alma mater, expressing gratitude to their teachers and cherishing the friendship with their classmates. During the exchange and question session, they suggested that current students should consolidate their professional foundation, actively respond to the digital transformation, adapt to the increasing popularity of AI quantity surveying and big data indicator analysis, cherish their university time, lay a solid professional foundation, bravely meet challenges, and shine brightly in new infrastructure and infrastructure going global in the future.
