News from the Website (Article/Photos by Yin Yehao) From October 28 to November 18, the Party Committee of the School of Software Engineering held the 2025 Second Half-Year Training Class for Party Activists, with organization member Zhang Xiaohui serving as the head teacher.
The training aimed to guide Party activists in thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, understand the Party's history and innovative theories, encourage participants to be strict with themselves, comprehensively improve their theoretical literacy and overall quality, and lay a solid foundation for joining the Party organization. The Party Committee of the school attached great importance to this training, which included various learning forms such as special study reports, Party spirit education practice teaching, and watching intra-Party educational films, totaling 24 class hours.
On October 28, Zhang Xiaohui held the opening ceremony in Conference Room 1601 and gave a lecture on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, as well as the conditions for Party members and the Party member development process. Dean Xue Jinchun delivered a lecture titled "The Nature, Purpose and Guiding Ideology of the Party", Lan Xinhua, Deputy Party Secretary (in charge of work), gave a lecture on "The Organizational Discipline and Organizational Principles of the Party", Vice Dean Liu Qiuming explained " 'Data' Narrates Jiangxi's Party History", and Wu Shaojie, Secretary of the Second Party Branch of Undergraduates, gave a lecture titled "The Establishment Background, Scientific Connotation and Historical Status of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era". The participating students watched the Party spirit education theme film "Nanjing Photo Studio" collectively. Under the leadership of the secretaries of each student Party branch, the participants carried out group discussions around the theme of "Why Join the Communist Party of China". In addition, in response to the call of "Do Practical Things for Teachers and Students", the Party activists carried out voluntary service activities in campus lecture halls, laboratories, meeting rooms and other places.
All participating students unanimously stated that they will transform the training experience into motivation for progress, take the standards of Party members as a mirror to check themselves at all times and practice everywhere, continuously temper their Party spirit and uphold their original aspiration, ensure that they not only make progress organizationally but also elevate themselves in ideological refinement, and strive to become Communist Party members as soon as possible.
