The school has also researched and proposed the "Five Action Plans," which will boost momentum and build consensus for the high-quality development of the school’s undertakings in the new semester.
On the morning of September 8th, the school held a working meeting for teaching and research section directors and Party branch secretaries. At the meeting, Lan Xinhua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee (in charge of overall work), conveyed and studied the spirit of the 12th Plenary (Expanded) Session of the 7th Party Committee of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology and the spirit of the 2025 Summer Cadre and Talent Training Conference. Xue Jinchun, Dean of the School, proposed the "Five Action Plans" for the School of Software Engineering, aligned with the university’s core task of building a world-class university in rare earths and critical minerals: 1. Special Action Plan for Strengthening Talent Foundation to Serve the Construction of a World-Class University; 2. Special Action Plan for AI-Enabled Reform and Innovation in Education and Teaching; 3. Special Action Plan for Technological Innovation Serving the Rare Earth and Critical Minerals Fields; 4. Special Action Plan for Integrating into the International Copper Capital Innovation Valley; 5. Special Action Plan for Supporting the Application for Doctoral Programs and the Construction of Jiangxi Institute of Advanced Technology.
Dean Xue Jinchun put forward work requirements focusing on "what to do" and "how to do it" in the new semester: 1. All departments and teaching and research sections must thoroughly grasp the spirit of the university’s meetings and scientifically plan their work for the new semester; 2. Leaders in charge of various areas should earnestly summarize the progress of work this year, address weaknesses, leverage strengths, and clarify ideas to ensure the high-quality completion of the school’s annual tasks; 3. Solidly carry out initial work such as teaching management, scientific research, student management, and orientation preparations, and start the new semester with a proactive and enterprising attitude; 4. Further strengthen the daily management of teaching and research sections and effectively improve the efficiency of their teaching organization and operation.
On the afternoon of September 8th, school leaders Xue Jinchun, Lan Xinhua, Liu Shumin, and Liu Qiuming went deep into the frontline of teaching to inspect and guide the teaching operation on the first day of the new semester. They carefully observed teachers' teaching, students' attendance, and classroom interaction effects, and had cordial exchanges with teachers and students after class to listen to teaching feedback and provide guidance. of scientific and technological achievements.
5.The Special Action Plan for Supporting the Application for Doctoral Programs and the Construction of Jiangxi Institute of Advanced Technology: Constantly strengthen disciplinary connotation construction and platform support capabilities.
Xue Jinchun emphasized that these special action plans are the top priorities of the school's work in the new semester. All faculty and staff should further unify their ideological understanding, raise their political standing, and effectively enhance their sense of responsibility and mission.
