The college leadership attached great importance to the orientation activities. Dean Xue Jinchun and Lan Xinhua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee (Presiding), inspected the orientation site, extended a warm welcome to new students and their parents, and expressed appreciation to the volunteers . Departments across the college had made advanced preparations to ensure a safe and efficient registration process.To simplify procedures for newcomers, a one-stop registration area was set up, covering identity verification, document collection, and campus card activation.Uniformly attired volunteers assisted with luggage carrying, directional guidance, and inquiries, providing comprehensive support throughout the process . The college also introduced several service initiatives: welcome packages containing a campus map, an admission handbook, a major orientation guide, and letters from senior students were distributed; a rest area for parents offered tea, charging facilities, and promotional materials about the college; a professional consultation desk was staffed by department heads and key faculty to address questions about curricula and career development .

By the evening of September 12, the orientation for the Class of 2025 had been successfully completed. Guided by the principles of efficiency, warmth, and orderliness, the event highlighted the college’s commitment to its new students while fostering a collaborative atmosphere between faculty and students, allowing newcomers to experience the warmth and vitality of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology .
