Report from This Website (Text by Wu Qixuan; Photos by You Shan)On the morning of May 21,the School of Software Engineering held a spring job fair for the graduating class of 2025 at the library corridor in the Nanchang campus.A total of 17 high-quality enterprises participated in the job fair,offering 192 professional positions.Nearly 600 graduates from the class of 2025 attended the job fair,and about 45 of them reached preliminary employment intentions with the employers.
The job fair site was equipped with standardized booths,covering multiple professional fields such as software development,system maintenance,Internet of Things,virtual reality,engineering management,and software civil engineering.The atmosphere at the job fair was lively,with numerous employers gathering together and a continuous stream of job seekers.The graduates,with their solid professional knowledge,good comprehensive quality,and project practice experience,engaged in in-depth communication with the employers,actively submitted their resumes,and participated in on-site interviews.
To ensure the effectiveness of the job fair,the college established a"trinity"safeguard mechanism.First,a qualification review mechanism was established.The college collected materials such as business licenses and job descriptions from enterprises through the school's employment system,strictly preventing false recruitment and employment discrimination.Second,dynamic booth management was implemented.Based on indicators such as the scale of the enterprise and the match of job positions,priority was given to arranging employers that are highly consistent with software engineering,virtual reality,management,and software civil engineering.Third,an instant communication platform was built.A WeChat group for enterprise services was set up,and volunteers were assigned to provide one-on-one services for enterprises,answering questions in real time.
The college's party and government leadership attached great importance to employment work.At the job fair site,Dean Xue Jinchun and Party Committee Deputy Secretary Lan Xinhu(in charge of work)emphasized:"We need to continue to deepen the collaborative education between schools and enterprises,transform the employment standards of enterprises into the improvement direction of talent training,and build a full-chain quality assurance system for'enrollment-training-employment'."
