Net News(Text/Zhao Shiyang;Photo/Bai Chenyang) To further deepen Party-building leadership and enhance the quality and efficiency of the School's disciplinary development, scientific research, talent cultivation, and student management, Lan Xinhua, Deputy Party Secretary (Acting Head) of the School of Software Engineering, led Party-building organisers and Party branch secretaries on an exchange visit to the School of Software Engineering at Jiangxi Agricultural University on 13 November.
Xiao Yifeng, Party Secretary of Jiangxi Agricultural University's School of Software Engineering, Hu Dan, Deputy Party Secretary, and Xiong Ye, Party Building Organiser, attended the symposium. Xiao Yifeng extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided a detailed overview of the school's fundamental profile, programme offerings, organisational structure, faculty composition, operational systems, and achievements. He highlighted innovative ideological and political initiatives including the "Song-based Party Lessons", experiences in applying for provincial model Party branch status, the "1+N" Party-building-led research support model, and the "1+1+1+1" undergraduate cultivation approach. Regarding Party-building-led discipline development, Xiao emphasised the interdisciplinary integration pathway between computer technology and agriculture, alongside the faculty leadership's mentorship system and dedicated funding for young faculty development. Hu Dan further elaborated on the School's student work innovations, including their rationale, implementation methods, and outcomes.
Lan Xinhua expressed gratitude to the leadership of Jiangxi Agricultural University's School of Software Engineering for their comprehensive sharing. He introduced our School's profile, academic programmes, distinctive Party-building features, disciplinary competitions, student education management, and operational achievements. He noted that this exchange provided valuable insights for advancing our School's Party-building innovation initiatives and reform efforts. Both parties affirmed their commitment to strengthening regular communication and deepening collaborative efforts in the "Party Building Plus" domain, jointly enhancing the quality and efficiency of institutional development.
