Training 1: Symptoms and Identification of Common Psychological Problems

This live class focuses on the symptoms and identification of common psychological problems. Dr. Xu Chenwen first made it clear that as a member of the peer mental health education team, students should assume corresponding responsibilities in mental health work-correctly understand mental health problems, act as discoverers in life, observe carefully, timely discover abnormal students and pay attention to them, and report to the mental health center for help.  Teacher Guo Juanli carried out the live training around "Peer Counselors'Work Duties and Pressure Adjustment". First of all, Guo Juanli pointed out the significance and responsibilities of the position of class psychological committee member and dormitory psychological liaison officer through plain words and appropriate examples, which can be roughly summarized as regular reports, special attention, timely feedback of crisis events, individual heart-to-heart talks and activities. At the same time, it also points out the advantages of peer counseling: friendship effect, strong timeliness, and easy to use. Chen Lixia, the speaker, carried out the training teaching around peer counseling skills-listening, respecting, asking questions, encouraging, providing support, giving advice and keeping calm, and explained and explained each skill in detail, making the training course easy to understand. She also stressed that peer counseling requires us toA positive, open, respectful and supportive attitude to help others solve their problems. Through listening, asking questions, encouraging, providing support and giving advice, we can help others build better relationships and improve their self-esteem and self-confidence.

Training IV: Psychological Principles in Interpersonal Communication

 This training course focuses on the psychological rules of interpersonal communication. Liu Yunmei, the lecturer, pointed out at the beginning that there are various ways of communication according to different criteria. Liu Yunmei mentioned that the key characteristic of communication is interaction, the core idea is to pay attention to each other's feelings, and the principle is equality, harmony and win-win. Liu Yunmei vividly explained what is invisible violence, comparison and moral judgment with examples from life, and emphasized the importance of using correct and reasonable communication methods. In addition, Liu Yunmei also focused on how to deal with aggression and how to prevent him.The three issues of invisible violence and how to manage personal emotions are taught. In Liu Yunmei's detailed, rigorous and humorous lecture, students have mastered better methods of life communication and interpersonal communication, which will be beneficial to students to better carry out mental health work and interpersonal communication in the future.
